The Tulsa Packer Backers were in their 2nd season when the Packers went to, and won, Super Bowl XXXI. To everyone's surpise, our little fan club suddenly had the local and even national spotlight on us. We decided to take advantage of our newfound fame and use it to give back to the community. Thus the Cheeseheads for Charity drive was born.

The first two years we raised a couple thousand dollars to help out a local program called Emergency Infant Services. The third year, at the suggestion of one our members and former Marine, we adopted Toys For Tots as our charity of choice. That's when the cause exploded.

Since inception, we have donated cash and toys totally over $200,000 and were even the top donor to Toys For Tots for Northeast Oklahoma on Christmas.

Each year we have three charity tailgate parties: The Memorial Tailgate, The Youngwirth Pig Roast and the Rollie & Kathy Fingers' Fish Fry where our members and guests can bring new toys or a cash donation in exchange for some of the best Tailgate grub you can sink your teeth into. We also have a couple charity raffles throughout the year held during halftime and for those who can't attend, donations can be made through our Paypal account.

The best part is that one weekend in early December which starts off with a bike build where we assemble close to 100 bikes and culminates with members of the United States Marine Corp Reserves joining us at the club. At halftime we officially present them with the toys and bikes and announce the totals. That moments makes it all worth it.
